About

I am a Ph.D. student at the California Institute of Integral Studies. My focus of study is on incarcerated transgender people’s privacy rights. I myself am a transgender femme. After I attain my degree, I hope to teach at the university level, showing how literature and literary criticism can augment our understanding of socio-legal structures. I graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2016 with a J.D., Magna cum Laude and from the American University of Paris in 2010 with a B.A. in Comparative Literature.

I am an expert in the Third Amendment, the California Public Records Act, and the Freedom of Information Act. I am a militant decolonial anthropologist, always antifascist, a firm believer that there are no good prisons and no good cops.
